Some other options to straight hair without chemicals.
- Flat Iron
This is the simplest way to straighten your hair. But heating your hair is also not good. It can damage your hair if heat exceeds the safe limit.
Even after, using a flat iron for hair straightening is the most used way. You may say this is almost everyone`s favorite method to straighten hair.
Do not forget to apply heat protectant before straightening your hair with a hair straightener. Hair serum and hair spray are some products you should have if you are using heating iron.
Never try to use a heating rod or heating Iron on wet hair. You may get an electric shock. And straightening wet hair is also not good for your hair texture.
Use Hair straightening Iron after drying your hair completely. Try to leave your hair to air dry or you can towel dry it. Using hair blower/ hair drier before hair straightener is also not recommended. It be damage your hair badly using heating appliances twice at same time.

Hair drier
Straight your hair using your blow drier. But it also may cause hair fall and damage hair.
Wash your hair with shampoo apply conditioner. Rinse thoroughly with water. Then blow dry using your hair drier. Comb your hair while drying it. Brush your hair in straightway upside down.
Move your hair drier along with your comb. Do this until your hair gets dry. Try keep doing this until your straight hair will be noticeable. Apply hair serum or heat protectant before your hair dries completely.
- Hair mask
You can make you own hair mask for straightening your hair. It does not straight wavy hair. Hair mask manage hair and makes it a bit straighter. But if your hair is curly or even wavy naturally this method is not going to work for you.
But yeah, you can make your hair look frizz free, smooth and beautiful. I am giving here recipe of my hair mast. I use to make this hair mask and apply on Sunday morning when I was in my collage.

Or just make this mask and apply 1-2 times in a week-
- Take a bowl break 1-2 eggs into it.
- Squeeze 1 banana well and mix it with eggs.
- Add 2-3 tbsp. of honey, 4-5 tbsp. of lemon juice and few drops of coconut oil.
- Mix all ingredients well together.
- Then take another bowl take 3-4 tbsp. of corn starch.
- Take a bit more corn starch if your hair is longer.
- Then pour a little water into it.
- Put on the flame and cook corn starch till it get boiled.
- You can use Milk or coconut milk instead of water.
- It should be paste like consistency do not boil too much.
- Keep it aside for cooling down.
- Mix your banana eggs mixture with milk corn starch mix.
- Apply this mask in straight manner
- Do not wrap your hair or pin.
- Your hair should be detangled and well brushed before applying this mask.
- You can apply while combing your hair.
- Let excess of this mix be poured out.
- Wash your hair after 1 hr.
Keep these points in mind while using Eggs on your hair.

If your hair is Oily, use only egg white.

You can apply whole egg if your hair is normal or combination hair type.

If your hair is dry and dull then apply beaten egg yolk or egg yolk hair mask.

Damp hair way
This method is most time taking and also stays for less time. If you are not using hair spray after this method then it will not last more than 4-5 hrs.
After washing and conditioning your hair apply serum. Dab your towel first so that there should not be excess water in your hair. You can apply any hair serum or just apply natural Aloe Vera gel after that. Then comb it straight upside down.
Use broader comb for combing your damp hair. While combing try to wrap it in circular motion around your hair. And after that you can wrap towel or shower cap.
Do this before you are going to bed. Leave your hair as wrapped overnight. Unwrap your hair after waking up in the morning and see the difference.

Now, coming to the permanent hair straightening most of you think that this is a permanent solution of all types of hair problems. Actually it is not, you can say it is a solution for frizzy, dull, rough, tangled and unmanageable hair.

Intense or Strong Product
You have to look on the packaging for getting the right products. Different brands have written differently on their packaging. If there is written 0, intense or Very Resistance (V.R), all these are strong products. You can apply Intense or strong product only on these types of hair-
- Virgin Thick Hair (never chemically treated)
- Heena coated
- Dye colored
- Thick curly virgin.
Oveall time after application for intense hair should be 45- 50 minutes. Visual check can be done after 30-35 minutes. You can buy any of the 4 given brands.
Normal product
Normal straightening products/ kit often called as no. 1 type. It is not as strong as V. R but is really effective for normal hair type ( neither too intense not too week).
- Fine virgin hair
- Hair on which chemicals are not used frequently
- Fine hair should be keep in mind.
Overall application time should be 35- 45 minutes. Visual check can be done after 25-30 minutes.
Mild product
You should be more careful with the application of No. 2 products. Mild products are used of week hair and should be done with special care.

Application timing should be 5-15 minutes. No matters you hair is thick in diameter or thin, this products should not be leaved more than 15 minutes.
- If your hair is already pre-lightened then you have to apply mild product and wash immediately before 5minutes. Because pre-lightened hair are very week and lifeless.
- If your hair is professionally colored but the quality of hair is good then you can leave it up to 15 minutes. But leaving more than 15 min will seriously damage your hair. Keep doing visual check just after application.
- If you frequently use hair straightener or any heating appliances then products should be washed off even less than 5 minutes.

How to straighten hair
Here are the steps of product application and straightening your hair.
- Leave the hair to diagnose to determine the right alignment cream.
- Prepare the product according to diagnose. As Intense, Normal or mild.
- Wash your hair thoroughly with crystallizing shampoo to remove residue from the hair.·
- Dry it with a towel and hairdryer until nothing drips. Hair should be dry completely.·
- Apply protective lotion to your hair for maximum protection.·
- For sensitive/dry hair on the tip, apply PC Cream as a maximum protector. It will protect your hair from further damage.·
- Prepare straightening cream as needed.
Short hair -> 80-100gr
Medium hair-> 100-200gr
Long hair->200-300gr·
- After all is applied, cover your hair/ head with plastic lid (thin Polly) and, set time.
10-15 min for sensitive hair/ week / chemically processed.
15-20 min for normal hair.
20-25 min for resistant hair (virgin hair).
- Check visually, then test the node in 2-3 places. When it’s not finished continue 5 minutes and again check visually.·
- After the node test is successful, rinse the hair with water without shampoo until clean.·
- Dry the hair to 100% dry with a hairdryer.·
- Clamp the hair with 1-2cm hanging depending on the thickness of the hair.·
- Prepare a cream / neutral emulsion. Neutral cream for the effect of falling straight / straightening. Neutral emulsion for natural smoothing effects. Then apply to all parts of the hair. Set Time 5-10 minutes.·
- Rinse thoroughly, use treatment 1 or 2 according to the desired results. Treatment 1 for medium hair tends to be thin. Treatment 2 for medium hair tends to be thick.·
- For natural results dry with a hairdryer.
